Pojagi mounds mural at hundley playfield

Commissioned by Seattle Parks & Recreation, Seattle Office of Arts & Culture, 2025

This commission was a mural painted on all four sides of a building at Hundley Playfield in West Seattle.  Pojagi Mounds is a landscape of belonging and togetherness inspired by Pojagi, the traditional Korean patchwork artform using scrap fabric to create cloths integral to protecting valuables and inferring goodwill to the recipient.  Pojagi Mounds mural is my way of enfolding the surrounding community with goodwill and wishes for unity and prosperity.
