Kraken Joseon Dragon

This commission was for Kraken, Seattle's National Hockey League team's Specialty Jersey for the Lunar New Year of the Dragon.  As part of the Hockey is for Everyone (HIFE) program local artists are asked to design specialty jersey logos for jerseys and other merchandise and provide artwork for use at Climate Pledge Arena on game day.  The design is inspired by the water dragons seen on porcelain vases and paintings from the Joseon dynasty believed to bring prosperity and abundance.
