hansan - river of stars, seattle children's theatre LOBBY

Commissioned by Seattle Children's Theatre & Rupert, 2025

In celebration of Seattle Children's Theatre's 50th anniversary I was commissioned to create the Hansan River of Stars mural and steel cutout led panels for theatre entrances that depict the collaborative environment that supports the hero's journey.  HanSan, Korean for One Mountain, incorporates longevity symbols of mountains and moving water.  The faced mountain reflects all the jewels (staff, students, performers, ardent fans, playwrights, volunteers & donors) in the Seattle Children's Theatre's community and the kind of environment that supports good humans through their life-long journeys into creativity and adventure​
